In Korea, the basement floors of department stores are celebrated for their vibrant food market culture. The SSG Food Market, located within Shinsegae Department Store, elevates this tradition with a premium deli, restaurant, and curated marketplace experience. The space blends modern retail design with gourmet sensibilities to create an upscale yet accessible environment for food lovers.
Contributed to the design of signage, wayfinding systems, employee nametags, and uniforms for counter staff—ensuring visual consistency with the brand’s premium identity and enhancing the overall customer experience. Every design element was crafted to reflect the refined, high-end atmosphere of the SSG Food Market while supporting functional needs in a bustling retail environment.
뉴욕에 기반한 디자인 스튜디오 무카에서 신세계 지하 푸드코드 디자인을 진행하여 참여하였다. 인테리어에 사용된 소재와 걸맞게 공간 전반에 걸친 표지판과 간판 및 네임텍 등의 디자인에 참여하였고, 카운터에서 일하시는 분들의 유니폼 또한 프리미엄 마켓 컨셉과 어울리도록 디자인하였다.
